Christmas at Chester Cathedral

Chester Cathedral is a must for the festive time of year. There are so many events taking place throughout the season.

Services will run throughout November and December and will include an Advent procession by candlelight on Sunday 27th November and a crib service for families and children of all ages on Christmas Eve.

Christmas Tree Festival: Saturday 26th November 2016 – Sunday 8th January

From the end of November, Chester Cathedral cloisters will be filled with more than 50 majestic Christmas trees.  Escape from the hustle and bustle of the festive period and lose yourself in the astonishing tree-lined winter walkways.

Back for a fourth year and bigger and better than ever before, the festival is a community-focussed event and will include trees decorated by local schools and businesses from across Chester and Cheshire.

Open daily, free admission.
